"AARAAAAUGHHHHH!" You woke up to the sound of your father's angered voice echoing throughout the farm, followed by the
sound of some tools/equipment crashing against the floor, creating a series of loud noises.

"I hoped to get a little extra sleep..." You mumbled as you slowly opened your eyes, unfortunately meeting the small
beam of sunlight that shone through a gap in the curtains. Before you could even think of what you had to do today a
sudden pressure was applied to your stomach "Ungh, Sherry!" (or name of your choice) you yelled, the sudden impact
quickly made you sit up as you went to glare at your 'attacker'.  The pup tilted its head, questioning what it had done wrong.
After hearing signs of her young master wake up, she felt it'd be best to greet them with a morning tackle-hug or something like that.

Of course being a dog she can't actually give a hug but you got the idea.

It was weird though, sure you'd give her attention when she wanted it you didn't bother with training and other stuff, but her and
the other four dogs on he farm usually always listened to you and followed you around like ducklings when they weren't occupied/busy
with something else. It was somewhat understandable with the three pups, but not with their parents who use to receive less
attention in comparison.

You got out of bed, having to push the pup off along the way before heading into the bathroom where you got dressed and stuff,
preparing for the day ahead.
"Hey mom" you said as you ran down the stairs and sped into the kitchen, Sherry following behind as usual.
"(y/n), hurry and eat breakfast so you can do some work." she replied pushing a plate full of food towards you as you went to sit at the
 table. "Aww. No sausage today?"
"You ate them all, remember? So you get bread instead. I know your a growing girl but you could cut down on the meat and be less
picky when it comes to vegetables."

"Aww you gave me a tomato? You know how much I hate these horrible things! The source of all evil!"

"Yes I know, but I also know you don't want to see an angry mom do you?" She kept a smile on her face, but a dark
aura could be felt emitting out of her.

"Fine..." you groaned. You swallowed large bits of it till there was none of it left, you wanted to spit it all out and run off but would rather not feel the wrath of the angry mom.
You glared down at Sherry "I thought we were friends? You were supposed to save me from the tomato and snatch it from my fork
last minute.." She only folded back her ears and stared up at you as if to say 'What? me? you never told me to, and I wouldn't eat it
either anyway.'
"I'd make you then."
"(y/n), stop talking to the dog and eat your food, you know she don't even understand a word your saying."

"I know, I know."  You quickly finished the remaining food on your plate as your dad stormed inside.
"Hey dad, I'm guessing it happened again?"

"Yeah, took Betty this time too. That da-"
"Okay, okay. I know already."
Betty was your dad's favourite sheep, she was quite large for her kind, only by a little but still large. She was due to have lambs in
a few weeks; another reason to add to the man's current rage.

"I'm gonna go wash the horses and then head over to the fruit tree's." you yelled as you bolted out the front door, Sherry still following
behind.
"You only need to do Shadow!" your father shouted after you.
" 'kay!" was all he heard as you ran off out of sight.

~

You made your way into the stable, and your (e/c) eyes scanned over the horses that were either eating, sleeping or just simply
standing there. They stopped on Shadow, who was nickering a hello. The large colt was jet black all across his body, save for the area
around his snout and fluffy feet which were pure white. His, fur and mane would be shining elegantly if it weren't for that mud,
the horse ran through a mud patch since one of the dogs had surprised it. The pup didn't mean to though, he just wanted a playmate.

You undid the latch and led Shadow out of the stables, listening to the sound his hooves made with each step as they hit the hard
floor. For some reason you found it somewhat pleasant to listen to, it was just one of the sounds you seemed to like. No idea why.
You stopped at an area not to far from the stables and left the horse there as you went to prepare the stuff needed to clean him.
It was a nice spot, it was sunny today and that area usually got a decent amount of sunlight. It was perfect because that would help
the horse dry up quicker.
You should of prepared before getting him, but it didn't really matter which way around you did it. He wouldn't wander off so that was
good, all you needed was a hose, shampoo, sponge and a brush anyway.

You turned on the water and walked over to the colt as the clear liquid began to flow through the tube, the colt seemed to enjoy
the feeling of the liquid on his skin as he sighed in content. He clearly took pleasure in being washed. You massaged the shampoo
into his fur, putting extra where there was mud and once you were satisfied, rinsed him off. You made sure that there was no
dirt leftover before drying him up a little with a small towel and brushing him all over, then removing any knots in his mane.
His fur began to return to it's elegant shine as he started to dry, the unwelcome feeling to it gone, his beauty back to it's best.
You stayed with him in that small spot till most of him was dry, treating him with some apples for being good.
'Now to the fruit trees' you thought to yourself as you put the horse and equipment back to where they once were.

~

Rocket, the father of the three pups always accompanied you and Sherry when you went towards the fruit tree's, you had no idea
why. Perhaps it was because they were close to the farms nearby woodlands, or maybe because your favourite tree had to
be the one nearest to the woods. For some reason in that specific area the tree's were a little closer together unlike the rest in
the decently-sized orchid that were spread out a good distance apart. The closeness of the tree's just about blocked out the sun,
some still managed to break through gaps in the leaves or just faintly shone through them in general.
You carefully walked through the small path you had made a while back, having to push some overgrowth out of the way and
taking note of to get rid of it later. You felt calm here and took in the sound of your surroundings.

The chirping of birds was often heard, along with the sound of the bright green leaves rustling in the gentle breeze,
creating a sound that seemed pleasant...until it was mixed with the faint sound of something whining? No, your hearing things. The wind stopped, the whining seemed to be a little louder, but then again it also sounded like the owner was trying to suppress the sound
as if not wanting to gain any attention but failing miserably.

The two dogs started growling (Rocket mainly, Shelly looked like she was just copying him) you silenced them and they obeyed
without question. The whining grew louder as you neared your tree, giving the air an unsettling touch. 'Just grab so fruit and go (y/n)'
you told yourself. You hastily lumbered over to the tree and began encasing some fruit in a small basket you brought with you.
You quickly but gently plucked from their branches, making sure they were ready and in good condition before doing so.

You turned back to look at the two dogs who were watching you as if nothing were there 'See? It was just the wind...' you thought
sighing in relief. And then you heard the sound again, it was so sudden and random that you felt the need to race off out of the area.
Only for you to trip over something and collide with the grassy floor Your arms stretched out and went to touch the floor so
you could help yourself up, but instead one made contact with something soft and fuzzy? As you went to remove your hand you
realised that you had touched something wet. Your gaze fell onto your hands, and you felt yourself stiffen slightly but it surprised
you more than anything.

Blood.
